BATAS DESA DAN KECAMATAN BELUM BERES TIDAK MASUK PTSL 2019

PONTIANAK, RUAI.TV – Kelompok Tani (Poktan) Gang Flora, Kelurahan Batu Layang, Kecamatan Pontianak Utara, mulai melakukan penanaman padi di musim gadu di lahan seluas 15 hektare, Selasa (23/04/2024).

Penjabat (Pj) Wali Kota Pontianak, Ani Sofian, turut serta melakukan penamanan padi secara simbolis.

Musim tanam gadu adalah musim tanam yang tidak ada pengairannya, namun mengandalkan air hujan atau tadah hujan.

Musim tanam gadu ini dimulai pada April sampai Juli.

Pj Wali Kota Pontianak, Ani Sofian, menyampaikan, secara keseluruhan terdapat 140 hektare lahan yang ditanami padi di Kota Pontianak. Bibit yang digunakan merupakan bibit unggul, yang dalam kurun waktu empat bulan sudah bisa dipanen. Dengan demikian, diharapkan penanaman bibit unggul padi ini bisa dilaksanakan tiga kali dalam setahun.

“Mudah-mudahan melalui upaya ini Pemerintah Kota Pontianak bisa menyiapkan ketersediaan beras, untuk mencukupi kebutuhan masyarakat Kota Pontianak, selain itu diharapkan harga beras bisa lebih stabil,” harapnya.

Penanaman padi di musim gadu dapat memberikan dampak positif dalam menstabilkan pasokan beras di pasaran. Dengan peningkatan produksi padi, diharapkan dapat meredakan tekanan terhadap harga beras yang seringkali naik turun secara tajam.

“Melalui upaya penanaman yang dilakukan oleh kelompok tani ini diharapkan bisa menstabilkan harga beras di Kota Pontianak yang berfluktuasi secara dinamis,” ujarnya.
